SUBJECT: Authorize the County Administrative Officer to execute side letters with Lake County Employee Association Units 3, 4, 5 and 10, Lake County Correctional Officers Association Unit 6, Lake County Deputy District Attorney Association Unit 8 and Lake County Deputy Sheriff Association Unit 16 to increase maximum monthly County contribution for insurance coverage from $800.00 per month to $1000.00 per month for employees who enroll in a County sponsored medical, dental, vision insurance plan, effective January 1, 2019
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On November 20, 2018, your Board approved amendments to the Resolutions for
Management and Confidential Units A and B to increase the maximum monthly County contribution for insurance coverage from $800.00 per month to $1,000.00 per month for employees who enroll in a County sponsored group medical, dental, vision insurance plan, effective January 1, 2019.
In order to make this same benefit available to all our bargaining units, staff is also
recommending your Board authorize the County Administrative Officer (CAO) to execute side letters with Lake County Employee Association Units 3, 4, 5 and 10, Lake County Correctional Officers Association Unit 6, Lake County Deputy District Attorney Association Unit 8 and Lake County Deputy Sheriff Association Unit 16.
