SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution of the Board of Supervisors of the County of Lake Adopting an Amended Conflict of Interest Code for the County of Lake
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Political Reform Act requires every agency to review its conflict of interest code biennially and to notify the code reviewing body if their current code is accurate, or alternatively, that their code must be amended. Pursuant to Government Code Section 82011, subdivision (b) the Board of Supervisors is the code reviewing body for all local and government agencies, other than a city agency whose jurisdiction is wholly within the County.
Submitted for your review and approval is an update to the County Conflict of Interest Code prepared in 2016 and reflects all changes received by the County Clerk as a result of notices and follow up through the County eDisclosure ClerkDocs system.
Exhibit “A” includes all positions required under the County of Lake Conflict of Interest Code. Exhibit “B” contains disclosure category descriptions provided as additional information to your Board.
Provisions of Conflict of Interest Codes has been included as reference.
