SUBJECT:                     Adopt Resolution approving Agreement No. 18-0250 with the State of California, Department of Food and Agriculture and authorizing Execution of the Contractor Certification Clause and Signatures for Insect Trapping Activities for the FY 2018-19

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

I would like to ask the Board to adopt the attached Resolution approving the amended agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for the trapping and detection of certain exotic insects in Lake County from July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019.  The new agreement amount is $31,940.  The original amount was $23,179 and CDFA has added $8,761 for the Asian Citrus Psyllid trapping and detection.  The previous resolution was approved on November 6, 2018. 

 

Should the Board adopt this Resolution, please have the Chair sign and return two (2) copies of the Agreement, and (1) copy of the Board Resolution to the Department of Agriculture for processing.  A signed completed copy will be returned for your records.
