SUBJECT: Approve Side Letter with the Lake County Deputy Sheriff’s Association (LCDSA) regarding amendment to 2018 Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), granting LCDSA employees a two-month extension to make use of Personal Leave days, authorizing the County Administrative Officer to sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As your Board recalls, on October 2, 2018, you approved the MOU with 2018 LCDSA. That MOU provides for employees to use two Personal Leave days by February 28, 2019, granted in lieu of a cost of living adjustment. However, not all employees have been able to make use of the Personal Leave granted, given the brief window of opportunity to do so. This Side Letter will extend the period during which employees can make use of the Personal Leave days for an additional two months, through April 30, 2019.
