SUBJECT: Approve Plans and Specifications for the Upper Lake Pedestrian Improvements for Upper Lake High, Middle & Elementary Schools Project; Bid No. 18-11, State Project no.: ATPL-5914(103) and authorize the Public Works Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids once authorization to proceed with construction phase is received from Caltrans
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Plans and Specifications for the Upper Lake Pedestrian Improvements for Upper Lake High, Middle & Elementary Schools Project are complete and a copy has been filed with the Clerk of the Board.
The construction estimate is approximately $400,000.
The California Transportation Commission (CTC) provides funds to eligible projects through the Active Transportation Program (ATP). Therefore, this project is 100% funded for construction with State funds.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize the Public Works Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids once authorization to proceed with construction phase is received from Caltrans.
