SUBJECT: Approve Agreement with the County of Lake and the Lake County Arts Council for the Display of Art in the County Courthouse and Authorize the Chair to Sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
For many years, your Board has promoted art in public places and supported local artists by designating public display areas within the Lake County Courthouse building for artwork curated by and coordinated by the Lake County Arts Council.
The attached document updates the agreement with the Lake County Arts Council related to these art displays, outlines new processes for installation and removal of such art, and implements a release signed by each of the Exhibitors/Artists.
Staff appreciates our partnership with the Arts Council to bring art to public places.
