Behavioral Health Services Administrator
DATE: January 29, 2019
SUBJECT: Adopt the Resolution Approving the Sales Order and Services Agreement between the County of Lake and Cerner Corporation for the Purchase and Maintenance of the Cerner Integrated Behavioral Health System Known as Millennium for the Term of January 1, 2019 through June 30, 2026 and Authorizing the Behavioral Health Services Administrator to Sign the Sales Order and Services Agreement.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is the Sales Order and Services Agreement between the County of Lake and Cerner Corporation for the purchase and maintenance of the Cerner Integrated Behavioral Health System known as Millennium.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: As Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) has been utilizing another Cerner Behavioral Health system known as Anasazi for a number of years, and Cerner is now introducing an upgraded version which will migrate all data from our existing system into the new updated system, it is in the best interest of LCBHS to purchase and use the new upgraded system.

By approving the Agreement now, it allows LCBHS to secure a time slot in the future to guarantee the integration of the two (2) Cerner Behavioral Health systems.
