SUBJECT: Consideration of Amendment 2 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Native American Mental Health Services dba North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) for Fiscal Year 2018-19 in the amount of $1,370,000
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) clients. As LCBHS does not have a psychiatrist on staff at this time, NAMHS telepsychiatry services are a necessary component in providing overall mental health care for Lake County Medi-Cal beneficiaries.

Original Contract Amount: $ 300,000
Amendment 1 $ 0.
Amendment 2 Increase: $1,070,000
New Contract Amount: $1,370,000
FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): Due to increasing utilization, it is necessary to increase the contract maximum so face to face medication management services can continue more regularly in addition to NAMHS fulfilling all mental health medical director responsibilities.

RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve Amendment 2 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Native American Mental Health Services dba North American Mental Health Services (NAMHS) for FY 2018-19 in the amount of $1,370,000 and authorize the Chair to sign.
