SUBJECT: Presentation by Lake Economic Development Corporation (Budget, Planned Work, and Request for Support)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Lake Economic Development Corporation (Lake EDC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit corporation governed by a nine-member board of directors representing government, non-profit, business, and tribes. The board will be expanded to eleven directors in early 2019. The County of Lake has a seat on the LEDC Board as do the Cities of Clearlake and Lakeport.
The Lake EDC wishes to report to your Board on the current activities, budget, and present a funding request to your Board.
