SUBJECT: Approve the Plans and Specifications for the Hill Road Correctional Facility Security Electronics Upgrade Project, Bid No. 19-03, and authorize the Public Services Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Plans and Specifications for the Hill Road Correctional Facility Security Electronics Upgrade Project are complete and a copy has been filed with the Clerk of the Board.
The estimate of probable construction costs is approximately $1,131,000. The project is included in the FY 18-19 Sheriff’s Department Budget Unit 1785 from monies originally allocated from AB 443 funding for rural and small counties.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the plans and specifications and authorize the Public Services Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids.
