SUBJECT: Consideration of Correction of Typographical Error in Approved Resolutions of Intention to Create: (a) Zone of Benefit Clearlake Riviera Within CSA No.23; (b) Zone of Benefit Buckingham Within CSA No.23; (c) Zone of Benefit Riviera West Within CSA No.23; and (d) Zone of Benefit Riviera Heights Within CSA No.23.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In each of the above-described resolutions approved by your Board, there is a typographical error in the following recital:
“WHEREAS, it is the intention of this Board to consider the creation of a Zone of Benefit within County Service Area No. 23 in the unincorporated area of the County, the boundaries of which are described in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, if an assessment is approved by a majority of the record owners.”
Instead of “approved by a majority of the record owners”, the provision should read “approved by a majority vote”.
This is clearly a typographical error as is shown by the remainder of the resolution, attachments, ballot information, and ballots issued in each of the proposed zones of benefit.

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Your Board may approve the correction of a typographical error by simple motion to do so.
