SUBJECT: Authorize long distance travel from April 1-3, 2019 for Sheriff Brian Martin to attend a private tour of the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration has invited me and several other Chief’s and Sheriff’s to attend a private tour of the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC). EPIC supports law enforcement and interdiction components through the timely analysis and dissemination of intelligence on illicit criminal organization. A presentation on the latest trends in drug interdiction intelligence and technology will be provided. In addition, this will include a border tour given by Customs and Border Protection.
