SUBJECT: Approve Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Kings View Corporation for MIS Support Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19 in the amount of $73,360 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Kings View Corporation for MIS Support Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19.
BACKGROUND AND SUMMARY: Kings View Corporation is experienced in the maintenance and utilization of the electronic health record (EHR) program Anasazi which is the EHR utilized by Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS). Kings View has the expertise to provide training on all aspects of this program and LCBHS has been in contract with Kings View Corporation for the purpose of program support. When the original contract was completed, on-site training and expenses were not included in the Agreement; therefore, LCBHS and Kings View Corporation feel it would be the most productive and cost effective to have Kings View Corporation send trainers to provide training to LCBHS staff on-site rather than sending multiple county employees off-site for training. In order to reimburse for these expenses both parties support increasing the Agreement by $10,000.

New Contract Amount: $73,360
FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): LCBHS is requesting approval of Amendment 1 to the Agreement for an increase of $10,000 in the total maximum payable under the Agreement for a new contract maximum of $73,360.
The funds for this increase will be re-allocated from unassigned bunds within the same budget allocation
