SUBJECT: Approve Letter of Support to Senator Nielsen for a $23 million budget request to fund a North State Regional Training Center (RTC) in Yuba City in Sutter County and authorize the Chair to sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Senator Nielsen is seeking letters of support for a $23 million budget request he has made to fund a North State Regional Training Center (RTC) in Yuba City in Sutter County. The RTC will provide a secure, multi-platform training facility for first responders and those who must meet state-mandated standards to perform public safety operations.
Sheriff Brian Martin supports this letter and the development of this facility.
