SUBJECT: Approve the Waiver of the 900 Hour Limit for Certain Janitor Positions within the Department of Social Services
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Department of Social Services requests authorization to waive the 900 hour limit for six extra help janitors.
Jo Ellen Bogue, Christopher Aguilar, Darrell Grady, Brandy Henderson, Maria Mendoza and Beau Stephens have been working for the Department of Social Services since June 2017. They do janitorial work for our 11 buildings. Their wages are paid out of Budget Unit 5011, Social Services Administration. We have sufficient salary savings to cover this increase in cost. Their hours will not exceed 999.
