SUBJECT: Consideration of Appointments to the Geothermal Advisory Committee
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On December 4, 2018, your Board adopted a resolution establishing a new Geothermal Advisory Committee which combined the communities of Cobb, Anderson Springs, and Middletown, to address impacts from geothermal development.
Per the adopted resolution, the new committee would be comprised of:
District 1 Supervisor (1)
Anderson Springs Community Services District Board (1)
Northern California Power Agency (1)
Calpine Corporation (1)
Anderson Springs Community Members at Large (2)
District 5 Supervisor (1)
Cobb Area Water District (1)
Cobb Community Members at Large (2)
Middletown Community (1)
Interested parties were requested to apply for a position on the committee and a total of ten applications were received.
