EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is the Agreement between the County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc. Tule House for SUD Perinatal Residential Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: LCBHS is required to make available SUD treatment services to women of Lake County who are either pregnant or post-partum. These services, referred to as "perinatal services", are specifically designed to address the substance use issues related to this high risk population. Services include group and one-to-one treatment in a residential setting which are provided by certified substance abuse counselors. In addition, transportation will be provided as necessary and case management and childcare will be provided in a safe, welcoming, State certified setting.

Original Contract Amount: $ 62,000
Amendment #1 Increase: $100,000
New Contract Maximum: $162,000

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): LCBHS is requesting approval of Amendment One to the Agreement with RCS Tule House for Fiscal Year 2018-19 for a new contract maximum of $162,000.

The increase for this Amendment shall come from funds being reallocated from unassigned funds within the SUDs levels of care.

This contract is funded by Realignment dollars.
