SUBJECT: Approve Amendment One to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Women's Recovery Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19 for a total contract maximum of $13,000 and authorize the Chair to sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is Amendment One to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Women's Recovery Services (WRS) for Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Residential Treatment Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19. Under this Agreement, Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) is obligated to pay $112.00 per day for single women with no children, $129.00 a day for women with one (1) child; and $145.00 a day for women with two (2) children for SUD residential treatment services.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: WRS was founded in 1975 with the mission of providing residential addiction treatment exclusively for women. WRS has been providing substance abuse treatment for women for over 35 years. WRS has been licensed in Addiction Treatment in the State of California since 1975.

As the forecasted utilization has been less than expected, LCBHS is requesting approval of the Amendment to decrease the Agreement by $17,000 for a new contract maximum of $13,000 which will ensure placements are covered through fiscal year end.
