SUBJECT: Approve Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc. for the Lake County WRAPAROUND (WRAP) Program, Foster Care Program and Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) Program for Specialty Mental Health Services for Fiscal Year 2018-19 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Amendment.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Attached, for your approval, is Amendment 1 to the Agreement between the County of Lake and Redwood Community Services, Inc. (RCS) for the Lake County WRAP Program, Foster Care Program, and the Intensive Services Foster Care (ISFC) Program for Fiscal Year 2018-19.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION: RCS has continually served children and youth with mental health needs residing in Lake County, and those children and youth who are enrolled in Lake County Foster Care programs, as well as those who are enrolled in the Lake County WRAP Program. Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) continues to support RCS to provide Specialty Mental Health Services to Lake County Medi-Cal eligible children and youth.

Original Contract Amount: $550,000
Amendment 1 Increase: $300,000
New Contract Amount: $850,000

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): As specialty mental health services associated with WRAP, ISFC, and Foster Care clients have increased, and in order to meet the reimbursements through the end of the fiscal year, LCBHS would like to increase the total maximum payable under the Agreement by $300,000 for a new contract maximum of $850,000.
