SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution to Appropriate Revenue from the Drug Enforcement Agency to the Sheriff/Marijuana budget 2203, in the amount of $75,000 for marijuana eradication.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: The Sheriff’s Department is requesting approval to appropriate revenue in the amount of $75,000 into the Sheriff/Marijuana budget 2203 to cover the costs of flight time during marijuana eradication efforts.
This funding is provided by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and is reimbursed to the County upon monthly billings. This is a new process this year as the DEA has provided advanced funding in the past.
