SUBJECT: Consideration of the Award of Bid No. 18-14 for the Southshore Behavioral Health Re-Roofing Project in the amount of $217,700 to Solano County Roofing, Inc.; and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement and Notice of Award
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Purchasing Agent publicly opened bids for the subject project on March 13, 2019. Three (3) bids were received and the apparent lowest responsible bidder was Solano County Roofing, Inc. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation. No local contractors bid on the project.
The project is within the estimate of probable costs and is funded through the Behavioral Health Department.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors award the Contract for the Southshore Behavioral Health Re-Roofing Project to Solano County Roofing, Inc. in the amount of $217,700.00 and authorize the Chair to sign the Agreement and the Notice of Award.
