SUBJECT: Approve Contract between the County of Lake and North Coast Opportunities, Inc., Rural Communities Child Care, for Stage One Child Care Services, in the amount of $70,000, from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2022 and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
As your Board is aware, Lake County Department of Social Services is currently contracted with North Coast Opportunities, Inc., for the provision of Stage One Child Care services. This program provides low or no cost child care for eligible CalWORKs participants, alleviating a large burden for many families. Stage One Child Care also provides facility referrals to participants, assisting them in finding quality, available child care. This contract renews services for Fiscal Years 2019-2022.
