SUBJECT: Approve Amendment One of Agreement between Lake County and Ewing and Associates for Special Legal Services for Sheriff Brian L. Martin
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: On March 7, 2017, your Board approved an Agreement between Lake County and Ewing and Associates for Special Legal Services. The contract maximum in this agreement was $30,000. Upon receipt of the final invoice, the contract maximum exceeded this amount. As such, it has become necessary to amend the contract in order to complete payment to Ewing and Associates. The final invoice exceeded the maximum by $1,213.65. It is requested this contract be amended to increase the contract maximum to $31,214.
