SUBJECT: Approve Contract between the County of Lake and Lake County Office of Education for Probation Family PRO in the amount of $36,000, from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Lake County Social Services, in collaboration with Probation, currently contracts with Lake County Office of Education (LCOE) for the Family Positive Response and Outcomes (Family PRO) program. The program targets families with children who are identified as at-risk of entering the juvenile justice system. With this contract renewal, LCOE will continue to use evidence-based practices, including making multiple contact attempts, unscheduled home visits, and creating a case plan with short and long term goals for at-risk youth.
