SUBJECT: Consideration of (a) the Lake County Housing Commission 5 Year Plan for 2019 - 2024 with Required Certifications and; (b) the Administrative Plan for 2019 and authorize the Chair to sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On May 21, 2019 your Housing Commission held a Public Hearing on the 5-Year Plan for the Lake County Housing Commission (LCHC) and a review of the Administrative Plan for 2019. During the 45-day public comment period that preceded this hearing, there were no written comments received. At the Public Hearing on May 21 there were no comments brought forth by the public. On May 22, 2019 there was a Resident Advisory Board (RAB) meeting to consider any public input received. With none to discuss, the Resident Advisory Board recommends the following items: 1) Approve the LCHC 5-Year Plan as originally submitted to your Housing Commission with no revisions; 2) Request the Board of Housing Commissioners approve for signature, form HUD-50077-CR (Annual Civil Rights Certification and Board Resolution) and form HUD-50077-SL (Certification of Consistency with the Consolidated Plan or State Consolidated Plan); and 3) approve the Administrative Plan for 2019 as originally submitted to your Housing Commission with no revisions.

Recommended Action
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
It is recommended that the Housing Commissioners approve the Lake County Housing Commission 5 Year Plan for 2019 - 2024 with required certifications and the Administrative Plan for 2019. Please also authorize the Board Chair to sign attached form HUD-50077-CR (Annual Civil Rights Certification and Board Resolution) and form HUD-50077-SL (Certification of Consistency with the Consolidated Plan or State Consolidated Plan).
Once these items are approved and signed by the Housing Commission, they will be electronically submitted to HUD prior to the July, 1 2019 deadline.
