SUBJECT: Discussion and Consideration of a Draft Resolution of Intention to Amend Article 71 of the Lake County Zoning Ordinance, Regulations for the Placement of Communications Towers and Antennae
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
Attached here is a draft resolution of intention as described hereinabove.
The issue of appropriate setbacks for communications facilities was raised by Supervisor Brown and the attached draft resolution provides your Board with some possible points of discussion to determine whether and to what extent you may wish to amend Article 71 to address more specific setback requirements in relation to the proximity of these facilities to residential structures and roadways.
