SUBJECT: Adopt a Resolution Approving Agreement No. 19-0205-000-SA with the California Department of Food and Agriculture to Provide Reimbursement for Weighmaster Program Inspections for Fiscal Years July 1, 2019 Through June 30, 2020
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: I would like to ask the Board of Supervisors to adopt the attached resolution approving an agreement with the California Department of Food and Agriculture (CDFA) for reimbursement for Weighmaster Program inspections for fiscal years July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020
This inspection program reimburses the County Agricultural Commissioner $240 per completed inspection of an assigned junk dealer or recycler establishment licensed as a weighmaster to determine compliance with BPC section 12703.1.We expect to do two inspections for fiscal year 19/20 for a total of $480.
Should the Board adopt this Resolution, please have the chair sign and return one copy of the Agreement, one copy of the Board Resolution and return them to the Agricultural Commissioner’s office for processing. A signed completed copy will be returned for your records.
