SUBJECT: Consideration of Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Between the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake and the Lake County Sheriff
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
I am pleased to bring forward the attached MOU for the consideration of your Board, as proposed by the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake. Under the terms of the MOU, the Sheriff will consult with the Tribe’s Executive Council and Commissioner to resolve consumer complaints or issues related to the Tribe’s Financial Services. The Tribe will make an annual contribution to the Sheriff in the amount of $25,000.
