SUBJECT:                     (a) Resubmission of the FY17 and FY18 Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant Certifications and Assurances and (b) Disclosure of Lobbying Activities

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:  On August 21, 2018, your Board authorized the County Administrative Officer to sign all grant documents for the submission of the FY17 and FY18 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance grants.

 

On June 26, 2019, the USDOJ confirmed that the Chairman of the Board would be required to sign the documents.    A copy of the 2017 and 2018 Certifications and Assurances are required to be signed in blue ink, along with the Disclosure of Lobbying Activities.

 

These funds are budgeted and are used to reimburse the costs of an extra help Records Technician working in our evidence facility.
