SUBJECT: (Continued from June 4, 2019) Class K Housing in Lake County, Limited Density Owner-Built Rural Dwellings Regulations and Draft Ordinance (Staff requests to postpone this item from July 9 2019, to July 23 2019)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
At the June 4, 2019 Board of Supervisors meeting, after discussing the idea of Owner-Built Rural Dwellings (Class K Housing) for Lake County, the board directed staff to come back with a draft ordinance adopting regulations for Limited Density Owner-Built Rural Dwellings for Lake County.
Due to an extreme workload for the CDD department, staff requests this item be postponed to July 23, 2019 to allow staff time to complete the draft and have it reviewed by County Counsel prior to the hearing.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests that the Board of Supervisors postpone this item to July 23, 2019.
