SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution Authorizing Access to State, Local, and Federal Criminal History Information by the County of Lake
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On June 11, 2019, your Board approved Resolution No. 2019-83, which authorized the Human Resources Department to access State, Local, and Federal criminal history information from the Department of Justice. Unfortunately, the Department of Justice has rejected the County’s application.
The Resolution presented today amends the original resolution and removes language related to certification, licensure, and subsequent arrest records as requested by the Department of Justice. The amended resolution is more in line with the Department of Justice’s template.
