SUBJECT:                     Authorize Long Distance Travel for Captain Norman R. Taylor to attend the 278th Session of the FBI National Academy Program in Quantico, Virginia

 

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:    The Sheriff’s Department is requesting authorization for long distance travel for Norman R. Taylor to attend the FBI National Academy Program. 

The National Academy is an intense eleven week program held at the FBI training center in Quantico, Virginia.  Classes begin October 7, 2019 and end on December 20, 2019.  The FBI will cover round trip airfare, meals and lodging during this period.

 

It is anticipated there will be minimal costs including a $305.00 session fee.
