SUBJECT: Approve the Award of Bid for the Surrendered and Abandoned Vessels (SAVE) Towing and Disposal Services, Bid No. 19-14, to All In One Auto Repair and Towing for amount not to exceed $50,000.00 from the date of the signed contract until September 30, 2020 and authorize the Chair to sign the Notice of Award and the agreement.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Watershed Protection District publicly opened bids for Request for Quotes (RFQ) for the SAVE Program towing and disposal services on Tuesday July 23, 2019. Two (2) bids were received, however one (1) bid was non-responsive.
The scope of the project is under the reimbursement grant awarded to the County of Lake's Watershed Protection District by the California Division of Boating and Waterways SAVE Program, with a grant award amount of $50,000.00 effective until September 30, 2020. The SAVE program is designed to remove and prevent abandoned and turned-in recreational vessels and related marine debris from California's waterways.
Staff recommends that the Board of Directors of the Watershed Protection District award the Contract for Surrendered and Abandoned Vessels (SAVE) Towing and Disposal Services, Bid No. 19-14, to All In One Auto Repair and Towing for amount not to exceed 50,000.00.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative): The project is 100% funded by the SAVE 18 Grant Agreement from the California Division of Boating and Waterways with a 10% match from County contribution including personnel hours (hours rate only with no benefits included).
