SUBJECT: Adopt Resolution Adopting the 2018 Update to the Westside Sacramento Integrated Regional Water Management Plan (IRWM)
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
In 2013, your Board adopted the Westside Sacramento Integrated Water Management Plan. (IRWM) The plan was updated in 2018. The entire plan with all appendices is too large to attach, so it is in the County Administrative Office.
All IRWM funding is being allocated to agencies within Lake County for the upcoming year. Special Districts is applying for grant funding for three of our districts (Kelseyville County Waterworks, Spring Valley, CSA #2 and Lake County Sanitation- SE Region). Special Districts is also applying to administer and manage all IRWM grant funding for the upcoming year.
To complete the application process, your Board must adopt the updated IRWM Plan. Questions can be directed to Jan Coppinger at (707) 263-0119.
