SUBJECT: Approve the Certification of Assurance of Compliance Form for the Victim-Witness Assistance Program for 10/1/19 through 9/30/20 and authorize the Chair to Sign.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On August 6, 2019 the Board adopted Resolution 2019-110 which authorized the Victim-Witness Assistance grant project and approved the Chair to sign the CalOES required document, Certification of Assurance of Compliance. Upon submission of the grant application, CalOES informed us that the incorrect Certification format was used. We respectfully request the Chair to sign the correct version, which has fewer special conditions to comply with.
