SUBJECT: Presentation by the Upstate California Connect Consortium (UCCC) for Broadband Internet Connectivity
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The Economic Development Corporation of Lake County considers broadband deployment and expansion as a priority for Lake County. The Lake EDC strategy, which was approved by both cities and the county of Lake, states that development of broadband is a critical infrastructure priority. The EDC has been approached by the UCCC to help draft a Master Plan for Broadband in Lake County as well as assist us in finding grant funding enabling us to make the Master Plan actionable. The UCCC would like to present their findings as well as what the next steps will be.
