SUBJECT: First Amendment to Contract between the County of Lake and People Services, Inc. in the amount of $18,468.66, from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2021, and Authorize Chair to Sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On April 23, 2019, your Board approved the contract between the Department of Social Services and People Services, Inc., who provides yard maintenance services to many office locations. An amendment is necessary to correct an error in the payment terms of the contract. The updated terms will allow the Contractor to request a cost of living adjustment after the first year. Additionally, the Scope of Services will be updated to reflect current office locations.

FISCAL IMPACT (Narrative):
There is no county cost associated with this contract. Social Services has contracted with People Services, Inc. since 2013 when the contract amount was $7,717.92 per year. The amount has increased incrementally due to cost of living adjustments.
