SUBJECT: Accept the Irrevocable Offers of Dedication for Roadway and Public Utility Purposes - Wight Way (CR #511B) Kelseyville, Parcel Map PM 05-08 Wright
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
The attached Irrevocable Offers of Dedication(2) are being presented to the Board of Supervisors at this time to provide off tract dedication for a public roadway and public utility easement along Wight Way that adjoins the Wright parcel being subdivided at 8800 Wight Way, Kelseyville.
The acceptance by the Board and the recording of these documents will satisfy the road dedication condition required for a portion of Wight Way and allow for future improvements within this strip of land being dedicated. Negotiations are underway to obtain the dedication for the final portion of Wight Way.
Approximately 600 feet of Wight Way is offered for dedication at this time. An attached site map will show the approximate location of the Wright parcel being subdivided.
Wight Way is currently a County-maintained road so the additional portion is recommended for acceptance into the County-maintained road system. Any driveways accessing the proposed parcels will not be County-maintained.
Staff has reviewed the documents and finds them acceptable. This department recommends that the Board of Supervisors accept the Irrevocable Offers of Dedication and return them to the County Surveyor for recording.
