SUBJECT: Approve Agreement Between the County of Lake and Mead & Hunt for Construction Administration Services for Runway 10-28 Asphalt Slurry Seal Rehabilitation (AIP No. 3-06-0117-019-2018) in the amount of $123,232, and authorize the Chair to Sign
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
On August 23, 2019, the Board approved construction of the Runway 10-28 Rehabilitation Project at Lampson Field. This project will require construction inspection of specialized pavement preservation techniques, and Mead & Hunt Inc. has trained individuals’ specific to this type of work. Staff anticipated Mead & Hunt Inc. would be responsible for this project from design through construction and their original contract only covered the design phase.
This project is 100% funded through the FAA Airport Improvement Program and through Caltrans Aeronautical Division.
Staff recommends that the Board approve the Agreement for Construction Administration Services between the County of Lake and Mead & Hunt Inc. for Runway 10-28 Asphalt Slurry Seal Rehabilitation (AIP No. 3-06-0117-019-2018) in the amount of $123,232.00 and authorize the Chair to sign.
