SUBJECT:                     Discussion and Consideration of Issues and Impacts Resulting From PG&E Imposed Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Events

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

 

For our combined special meeting with the City Councils of Clearlake and Lakeport regarding the recent, compounding and very unfortunate PSPS events, staff is requesting an opportunity to discuss a variety of related issues and impacts with your Board and the Councils:

 

Staff reports on PSPS impacts.

 

PG&E application process for residents needing reimbursement for food loss resulting from PSPS. (A PG&E representative has been requested to attend the meeting.)

 

State funding to be made available for local jurisdictions for PSPS events.

 

Wireless data concerns and needs during PSPS events.
