SUBJECT:                     Consideration of Side Letter to LCSMA January 1, 2019 - December 31, 2019 MOU

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

Representatives from the Lake County Sheriff Management Association (LCSMA) recently identified an unintended impact of the recent change in Peace Officer status for Correctional staff and subsequent movement and retitling of Correctional Lieutenant position from LCCOA to LCSMA as Lieutenant-Corrections:  The Advanced Training Differential included in the LCCOA MOU for that position was not carried over to the LCSMA MOU.

 

This side letter adds the Advanced Training Differential for Lieutenant-Corrections to the LCSMA MOU.  (The LCSMA MOU already includes incentive pays for the other classifications included.)
