Subject: Approve Plans and Specifications for the Bartlett Springs Road at Cache Creek Bridge Replacement Project; Bid No. 20-01, Federal Project No: BRLO-5914(092)
Executive Summary: (include fiscal and staffing impact narrative):
The Plans and Specifications for the Bartlett Springs Road at Cache Creek Bridge Rehabilitation Project are complete and a copy has been filed with the Clerk of the Board.
The construction estimate is approximately $1,011,000.
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) provides funds to eligible projects through the Highway Bridge Program (HBP). Therefore, this project is 100% funded for construction with Federal funds.
Staff recommends that the Board of Supervisors approve the Plans and Specifications and authorize the Public Works Director / Assistant Purchasing Agent to advertise for bids once authorization to proceed with construction phase is received from Caltrans.
