Subject: Town Hall Meeting on COVID-19
Executive Summary:
General COVID-19 information is widely available, but what are the risks, and what is being done, in Lake County? What can Lake County residents do to protect their communities - their families?
Lake County’s Public Health Officer, Gary Pace, MD, MPH, has assembled a panel to answer these important questions.
Participants are expected to include Sheriff Brian Martin, Superintendent of Schools Brock Falkenberg, and representatives from local medical providers, including Emergency Medical Services. All play a critical roles in our County’s response to COVID-19.
The panelists will each make a brief presentation, then answer questions submitted to MHOAC@lakecountyca.gov by Monday, March 30, at 12pm.
To facilitate social distancing, this meeting is not open for in-person public participation, but it will be broadcast on Mediacom Channel 8, and streamed live in this Granicus feed and at https://www.facebook.com/lakecountycagov/.
Our medical leaders need the help of every resident to keep COVID-19 from gaining a foothold in Lake County.
