Subject:                     Approve Agreement Between County of Lake and Behavioral Health Services as Lead Agency of the Lake County Continuum of Care and Kelseyville Methodist Church as the Fiscal Agent of the Hope Rising Warming Center Project for Fiscal Year 2019-20 and authorize the Chair to sign

 

Executive Summary: The purpose of this grant funding is to provide support to Continuums of Care, Large Cities, and Counties to protect the health and safety of homeless populations and reduce the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. In accordance with the authority cited above, the Housing Coordinating and Financing Council (HCFC) shall distribute these funds to California Continuums of Care.

 

Kelseyville Methodist Church as Fiscal Agent of the Hope Rising Warming Center Project has agreed to utilize this funding to develop and maintain their warming center as a COVID-19 outbreak shelter during this time of crisis. The Lake County Continuum of Care has decided to support this as well.
