Subject: Adopt Resolution to Amend the Budget for FY 2019-2020 by Appropriating Unanticipated Revenue for Public Health Services and authorize the Health Services Director to sign necessary documents to secure these funds
Executive Summary:
The County of Lake, Department of Health Services, Public Health Division was recently awarded additional funding from California Department of Public Health for the COVID-19 Crisis Response. This award will be distributed in a lump sum for a total of $194,175.
California Department of Public Health has provided funding to Lake County to enable COVID- 19 Crisis Response. Crisis response allocation is detailed in the attached Resolution for your approval, and will include:
• Additional salary, overtime, FICA, and PERS costs
• COVID-19 office supplies, special department expenses, and inventory items
Additionally the Resolution presented requests that the Health Services Director may sign all necessary documents to secure these funds.
