The Lake County Department of Public Works was recently notified that we had received a grant through the Federal Government’s Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in the amount of $30,000.00 to be used for operational and maintenance expenses at Lampson Field Airport. The attached Resolution accepts these funds on behalf of the Department, and authorizes the Public Works Director to act as the official representative, which includes signing all grant documents. A copy of the draft Agreement is attached for the Board’s review.
