Subject: (a) Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to the Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Approve the Agreement between the County of Lake and Hardeep Singh, MD to fulfill the responsibilities of the substance use disorder (SUD) Medical Director for Fiscal Year 2020-21 for a contract maximum of $90,000 and authorize the Board Chair to sign.
Executive Summary: Attached, for your approval is the Agreement between the County of Lake and Hardeep Singh, MD to fulfill the responsibilities of the SUD Medical Director for Fiscal Year 2020-21 for a contract maximum of $90,000 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Agreement. Lake County Behavioral Health Services (LCBHS) is mandated by its Drug Medi-Cal contract with the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) to have a licensed professional fulfill all the SUD Medical Director responsibilities.
