Subject: Consideration of (a) Purchase of seven (7) 2020 Ford Explorer Police Pursuit Vehicles from Redwood Ford in the amount of $254,197.44 from the Sheriff/Pursuit Replacement Budget Unit 2217, Object Code 62.72 and (b) authorize the Sheriff/Coroner or his designee to sign the purchase order.

Executive Summary: The Sheriff's Department is requesting your Boards' approval to purchase seven (7) 2020 Ford Explorer Police Pursuit vehicles. These vehicles will be marked patrol units and will be used in the enforcement division.

A request for sealed bid was issued on April 17, 2020 and bids were received from the following dealers: Corning Ford, Redwood Ford, Downtown Ford and Towne Ford. This bid was also posted on both the County and Sheriff' websites.

Corning Ford - $37,141.89
Redwood Ford - $36,313.92
Downtown Ford - $36,898.29
Towne Ford - $36,503.75

Funds are budgeted in both the Sheriff/Pursuit Vehicle Replacement Budget 2217.
