(a) This item is being submitted as an "extra" agenda item. The justification for this request to consider an item not on the posted agenda is as follows:
This item came to the attention of the Board subsequent to the posting of the current agenda and there is a need to take action before the next agenda.
(b) I am requesting our Board consider adding a special meeting to our regular meeting calendar, to be held on May 28, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., to consider a letter to the Governor requesting additional local authority for reopening from the COVID-19 pandemic.
