Subject: Adopt Resolution Amending Resolution 2020-42 to Replace EMC Planning Group, Inc. with County Administrative Officer Carol J. Huchingson in Section 1 and Section 2 of Resolution 2020-42.

On April 7, 2020, Lake County Board of Supervisors awarded a contract to the EMC Planning Group, Inc. to complete the tasks of submitting for the LEAP Grant and all other associated tasks related to updating Lake County's Housing Element as required by the State of California in preparation for a Housing Element Update certification.
Lake County Board of Supervisors approved Resolution 2020-42 on April 21, 2020 authorizing the EMC Planning Group, Inc. to submit a grant application for the Local Government Planning Support Grant Program Funds for $150,000.
After an initial review, the State of California Housing and Community Development requested that Lake County amend the Resolution 2020-42 to replace EMC Planning Group, Inc. in Section 1 and Section 2 of Resolution 2020-42 with the County Administrative Officer's name and title.
The amendment of Resolution 2020-42 is intended to respond to the request by the State of California Housing and Community Development to further establish our eligibility for the LEAP Grant.
Adoption of this amendment will not result in additional staff time or budgetary expenditures.
